This Father’s Day, why not give your dad or granddad the opportunity to go wild, by taking part in our special bushcraft experience designed to test their wilderness and survival skills?

Komaru is running Father’s Day Bushcraft Experiences on the weekend of 14th and 15th June at its  Base Camp in Fishbrook Wood, within Knowsley Safari Park, and dads and granddads can come for free. The day runs from 11am to 4pm and includes survival tips, shelter-building, fire-lighting, campfire cooking and tracking.

Any bookings made for a child aged between 8 and 16 years old, at a cost of £20, include a free adult place for a dad or granddad (and it goes without saying that foster dads, step dads, uncles and other male carers are all welcome too).

The cost of the day also includes free entry to the walkabout area in Knowsley Safari Park, where you can visit the Bird of Prey Experience, Bug House, meerkats, giraffes, elephants and much more.

Extra places can also be booked for children and adults at £20 per person (minimum age 8).
