The Komaru team is all set for a busy July, which will see the team welcome its 5,000th visitor to Bushcraft Base Camp at Knowsley Safari.

Komaru’s popular family bushcraft courses will be running on Sunday 17th and 31st July from 11am to 4pm, packed with fun for the whole family – from fire-lighting and shelter building to animal tracking.  Booking includes free entry to the Safari Park’s walkabout area – with the opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, meerkats, sea lions and much more.

The camp is also available all week for school, community group and team-building bookings, which are filling up fast, and for its famous bushcraft birthday parties.

July will also see more ‘pop up bushcraft’ in the community, including a new programme of activity across the summer with the Friends of Moorside Park in Crosby.

Details of skills masterclasses and this summer’s overnight camps will be published shortly.
